Install Facebook banner on homepage
With the Facebook banner you can turn visitors to your homepage directly into fans. With this you achieve that they hear from you permanently and thus become returning visitors. But how do you actually install such a banner? You can find tips on how to do this here.
What you need:
- Basic knowledge of HTML
Select the Facebook banner
- Open the website with the overview of the Facebook-Banner. Decide here for a suitable banner, which should be used on the homepage in the future. You can also choose a different model afterwards.
- After making your selection, you will be asked to enter the login data for Facebook. After confirmation, you will be redirected to the pages that you currently favor.
- Now select a page that you want to include with a banner on your homepage. As soon as you have selected a suitable entry, you will also receive a preview next to it.
- You have now carried out all the necessary steps to be able to bring the banner to the homepage.
Equip the homepage with the new widget
- Open the HTML code of your homepage and switch to the area where the banner should be integrated. It is also possible to store it in the sidebar.
- Copy the page into an editor and save the file. This is how you can restore in case you accidentally remove snippets of code with the Facebook banner.
- Then go to the Facebook page where you can find the code under the selected page. Copy this and paste it in the appropriate place.
- Now save the HTML file and go to the actual homepage. Here you can see how the Facebook banner looks.
