This is how you can hide your friends' news
So that you keep the news of your friends at Facebook you must first log into Facebook as usual.
- Now go to the Facebook homepage.
- Now move the mouse cursor over the news that you have on your profile or want to hide your home page.
- In the news item, an arrow will now appear in the top right corner pointing downwards, click on it.
- If you now select the text "Hide message", the news will no longer be displayed on your start page.
- In order not to have all the news of a person displayed on your start page, select in the submenu the item "Deactivate subscription for person" or "Subscription for status messages from person deactivate".

How to remove activity from your Facebook history
If, in addition to the news on your homepage, you also want to hide or remove activities on your Facebook timeline, you can do this in just a few steps.
- To do this, go to your home page and click on your name to get into your timeline.
- Next, hover your mouse cursor over the activity you want to remove and click the little arrow that appears in the top right corner.
- You can hide the news by clicking on "Remove from history". It no longer appears in the chronicle, but is still there.
- If you click on "delete", however, the entry is completely removed from the history as soon as you have confirmed the deletion.
The next time you log in to your social network, the activities will be removed from your history.
