Now it’s about to start. Have your craft supplies ready.

  1. Download a Christmas template from the Internet. Alternatively, you can of course draw one from memory or copy it from a book.
  2. Cut out the template and glue it to the construction paper.
  3. Now you have to be very careful. Take a craft knife and cut out the inside of the Christmas design so that a margin of about 1cm is left. The rest of the picture is then, so to speak, "hollow".
  4. Now place the transparent paper in the appropriate color (for example green for the Christmas tree) on the template and outline it with a pen. You now have the outline of the motif on the transparent paper.
  5. Now cut out this silhouette from the tracing paper.
  6. Now wet the outer area of this silhouette with glue and fix the whole thing on the construction paper. You now have a Christmas figure, which has an edge and is colorful and transparent on the inside due to the transparent paper.
  7. The window picture is almost ready now. Depending on the motif, you can still glue on additions. In the case of a Christmas tree, for example, these could be small balls that you cut out of the construction paper in the form of circles.
  8. Finally the window picture is hung up. Pierce a small hole with the needle in the upper area of the edge and thread a nylon thread through it, which you then glue on.

The window picture is now ready. You can use many Christmas designs for this type of crafting.
