The start page in the browser is the page that is automatically loaded when the program is started. If you have accidentally changed it, you can simply restore the old page.

How to set the start page in Firefox

1. If you use Firefox, you must select the "General" tab in the menu under "Settings".
2. There you can choose whether you want to set the currently opened page as the start page (button "Use current pages"), whether you want to use the old Want to set up a standard page ("Restore default") or whether you want to define your own start page, which you can enter in the "Start page" field enter.
3. Confirm the new start page with "OK".

Internet Explorer - this is how you can restore the old start page

Also in Internet Explorer, the start page is set via the menu.

1. In the menu, click on "Tools" and then on "Internet Options". There you select the "General" tab.
2. Here you can make the "current page" your home page, i.e. the page you have just opened in the browser. Alternatively, you can use the options "Standard Page" or "Blank Page".

3. Here, too, you have to confirm with "OK" to save the changes.

This is how it works with Google Chrome

1. Select "Settings" from the menu in Chrome. Alternatively, you can access this entry using the tool key in the top right corner.
2. You can define the start page under "Basic Settings". There are also various options to choose from here, including the option of specifying a single page or a list of pages as the start page. In this browser, too, you have to confirm the changes with "OK".

With all browsers you have to close the program once and then restart it before the changes take effect and, for example, the old start page is automatically reloaded.
