Charging your mobile phone without a charging cable?

When it comes down to it, it "beeps" and the cell phone battery says goodbye. But the connection is eminently important to you, sometimes even vital. Then good advice is expensive and help is not in sight. The last resort can be a trick, how the mobile phone can be recharged without a charging cable or power source.

Even the best cell phone needs electricity.

What you need:

  • wire
  • Charging adapter
  • Batteries
  • flashlight

A cell phone can be charged without a charging cable

The cell phone can still be charged relatively easily if the technical requirements for a provisional charging process are in place.

  • Then the battery can be fed with a piece of wire and a charging adapter for other devices. However, the voltage must be approximately correct and the polarity of the battery and the adapter must be clearly recognizable. Take the battery out of the cell phone and try to connect both parts with the correct polarity.
  • With jack plugs, the positive pole is definitely on the central contact. You can use the wire if necessary. wrap around the contacts and hold the other contacts in place with your hand. Or is the charging cable of another cell phone available, which can be converted for it. (Note polarity!)
  • After just a few minutes, the battery has recovered enough that the absolutely necessary call can be made. If, on the other hand, you are in a wide hallway, there is only a small chance for an emergency call.
  • The battery must also be removed. Rub it between your hands so that it heats up, put it back in and try to use the small residual current for the call.
  • Charge your mobile phone via PC - that's how it works with the Sony Ericsson

You took your cell phone with you on vacation but forgot the charger? No …

  • A third variant would be the use of standard batteries that could be used with a flashlight. Only 2 batteries may be on top of each other. The middle contact is always the positive pole.
  • As with the charging adapter, a provisional connection between the flashlight and the removed battery must now be established. To do this, unscrew the flashlight bulb to access the contact.
  • A resourceful head will perhaps be able to isolate the contacts in such a way that the pear can be partially screwed in again and the electrical conductor is clamped between the threads. Then only the flashlight has to be switched on and charging without a charging cable begins.
