Chrome is the browser of Google. Google Chrome applies just like the in-house one Search engine, in general as very fast and is therefore often used. However, some users have the problem that Google Chrome keeps crashing. If this is the case for you too, you should uninstall the browser and then install a new version.

Google Chrome keeps crashing - this is how uninstallation works

  1. To be able to uninstall Google Chrome, first close all active windows.
  2. Then click on "Start" at the bottom left of your taskbar.
  3. Then open the control panel.
  4. There you open (depending on the Windows version) either the menu item "Software" or "Programs and Features".

  5. A list with all of your installed programs will now be created in this menu. If your computer is very full, this may take a little longer.
  6. Now look for Google Chrome from the list (usually in alphabetical order).
  7. Click on it, then click Remove.
  8. Now you will be asked if you really want to remove Google Chrome. Click OK.

Google Chrome will now be uninstalled. After that, delete the installation file from the folder into which you downloaded it during installation. Always restart the system after such deinstallations. Then you can dare to reinstall.

How to reinstall the browser
