hair are always exposed to great stress. They dry out quickly and often look strawy afterwards. Natural curls and very dry hair, in particular, need an intensive one care. It doesn't always have to be the expensive care products. Nature can often help us much better. Olive oil is rich in valuable fatty acids that help keep hair looking well-groomed, vibrant and shiny. Caring for the hair is always very important as the scalp only supplies the first seven centimeters of the hair with nutrients. Therefore, you should treat your hair to an olive oil regimen at least once a week.

How to properly use an olive oil regimen

  1. First wash your hair. This frees them from dirt and grease residues that can prevent the care substances from penetrating. Then dry your hair towel-dry and comb it carefully. Be careful when combing your hair while it is wet. Hair expands a lot if you comb it through roughly. You can tear.
  2. Take a bowl of olive oil and part your hair in half. The best way to do this is to make a middle parting from the forehead to the nape of the neck. Then gently comb the right and left sections of hair forwards so that you can get to your hair better when you do the treatment.
  3. Dip your hand in the bowl of olive oil and use the same hand to grasp a section of hair. It doesn't matter whether you start with the left or right half first. It is important that you only treat the middle area of the hair and the tips. The approach, up to ten centimeters, is not treated with oil. Otherwise, you risk a greasy-looking hairline that is not easy to remove. In addition, it is usually the longer sections of hair and the tips that have dried out.
  4. Now repeat this process on the other side and then carefully comb the hair through. You will see how easily and smoothly you can now slide the comb through. The hair is now tied in a braid. You will need the hair tie and possibly a towel that you can wrap around your hair. Leave the olive oil on your hair for three hours. An overnight cure is also possible. You should only put a towel on your pillow, otherwise grease stains can appear on the bed linen.
  5. Make a split ends treatment yourself - this is how it works

The longer or drier your hair, the more prone to split ends ...

  6. The dry hair now soaks up the olive oil during the exposure time. It can regenerate and recover. After the exposure time, wash the hair thoroughly twice with shampoo. Make sure that all oil residues are washed out.

It is particularly effective if you repeat the olive oil regimen once a week. While you will definitely see how smooth and shiny your hair is after the first application, you shouldn't expect miracles either. Permanent treatment with olive oil, on the other hand, really works wonders.
