Successfully perform knight games in kindergarten
Not all "typical" jousting games are suitable for kindergarten. Still, you can have tons of medieval fun with the little ones.
What you need:
- yellow construction paper
- childproof scissors
- Glue sticks

- Shoebox
- Aluminum foil
- Gold coins made from chocolate
- Cloths

Entry of the knights into kindergarten
- For example, let everyone children take part in a crown handicraft. For this you provide yellow construction paper, child-safe scissors, glue sticks and paints. If some boys and girls find it very difficult, you can help them out.
- You can also go on a knightly treasure hunt in the kindergarten organize. Puzzles that have been thought up beforehand lead to the place where you have hidden a shoebox with gold coins made of chocolate, covered with aluminum foil.
Perform knight slalom with children
Or organize a knight horse slalom.
- To do this, you have to assign two children to each other and line them up one behind the other (the horse in front, the rider in the back).
- Then give the children a handkerchief to the right and left, which connects the two of them (as a bridle, so to speak).
- Set up in this way, a previously agreed route is covered, during which the children have to collect certain previously laid out objects and bring them to the finish.

Precautions in the jousting games
Always make sure that there is no risk of injury to the kindergarten children.
- This means, for example, that there should be no sharp objects in the jousting games. Take the appropriate items (for example horse mackerel) from the little boys and girls.
- It is also important that you avoid tripping hazards. If there is an object in the way, remove it before a new competition begins.
- The children should always have a firm footing. It is therefore important that you have a look at whether all boys and girls are wearing shoes and whether they are properly closed.
- Before and, if necessary, during the jousting games, exhort the children to show consideration and caution.
- If a child does not want to be tamed, you have to exclude them from the kindergarten event - at least for a certain period of time.
