- ePub is the most common format for eBooks on mobile devices. Unlike PDF, for example, it can also save formatting, scalable fonts and clean page transitions. This makes reading an eBook on a device like Google's Nexus 7 a real pleasure.

Read eBooks on the Nexus 7
- First, you need to get the book onto your device. You can either transfer an ePub from your computer to the Nexus 7 (via USB cable or via services such as Dropbox) or an eBook directly in the Google Play Books Store buy. Google Play belongs to the Nexus devices Apps to the pre-installed apps. If you do not have the app on your device, you can simply install it free of charge.
- Open the ePub file on the Nexus 7 or select a book from the Google Play Books Store. Both variants result in the Play Books app being opened and the book being loaded. The book will be uploaded automatically to be shared on all of your Google or Google Maps. Android- Make devices available. A tap on the cover opens the book in full screen view.
- You can now just flip through the pages and enjoy your book. You can exit full-screen mode by swiping down from the top of the screen. This brings you back to the overview of all your books in the Play Books app.
