5 examples of personification
Personification is understood to mean when one assigns different things to human characteristics that they normally cannot have at all. There are many examples of this and they are easily explained.
1. "The sun is shining" - a typical personification
As soon as the weather is nice, it was warm outside and the sun shows up in the sky, it is absolutely typical to say: "The sun is shining from the sky". This is a very common phrase for a personification.
2. Examples that everyone knows
When it rains outside, people like to speak of "Heaven is crying" to describe the weather situation. It expresses exactly the opposite of "The sun is shining". Here, too, a simple but very appropriate formulation that everyone understands.
3. Another personification - "The awakening nature"
As soon as the first rays of sunshine can be seen in the sky and it gets a little warmer after a cold winter, it starts to bloom and green everywhere. For this, too, there is a typical personification that people like to use. One speaks of: "Nature is awakening".
4. Personifications from the animal world
Personifications are also often used in the animal world. There are also some examples of how the personifications are used here. "The clever fox", "The ugly duckling" or "The beautiful swan" are typical examples of this.
