Most hair colors are classified into durability levels. Some hair colors can be come out faster than others, and some cannot be removed. Please note:

• So-called oxidative coloring (shelf life level 2) lasts up to 28 washes, so this is a hair color that you can get out. Depending on the hair structure, the color usually becomes pale quickly, but residues can neither be removed quickly nor at all. This often leaves a slight reddish cast on light blonde hair.
• Washable hair colors of durability level 1 can usually be completely removed in 3 to 8 washes. So if you've just used a dye set or a mousse tint, you can get the hair color out quickly. But even here, especially with bleached hair, permanent discoloration can occur.

You have to do exactly the opposite of what you usually do if you want your hair color to last longer.

• Do without conditioners that fix the hair color or keep it beautiful.
• Wash and dry the hair several times. Hair washes ensure that you get color out faster, especially if you let the hair dry between washes, so don't wash 8 times in a row.
• The sun ensures that the color in the hair fades, the bleaching effect is particularly good on wet hair.
• Lemon juice rinses also ensure that you get the hair color out faster.

If you have dyed a very large difference to your own hair color, you must always take into account that the hair color cannot be removed completely. Wash the hair several times, so you can get at least a large part of the hair color out quickly and then color the hair in a shade that comes close to your natural shade.
