Compare these costs with the benefits you get from using the heating element in the buffer storage tank. This benefit cannot be expressed exactly in terms of money. First of all, there is time savings, savings in wood and heating costs. The saving in wood can be converted into money and compared with the expected energy costs. The remaining savings can only be booked under the heading "Luxury". This means that you have to weigh very carefully in advance how much the advantages of the immersion heater are worth to you.
