Recipe for schnitzel from the oven

The following recipe is suitable for all schnitzel that consists of a slice of meat. You should better bake minced meat, i.e. wood chips, without breading.

  1. It is essential to preheat the oven (200 ° for convection, 220 ° for other ovens). The schnitzel has to come in the hot oven for the recipe to succeed.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the schnitzel from baking.
  3. Whisk the egg into an even liquid. Put this, the flour and the breadcrumbs separately on each flat plate.
  4. Season the schnitzel with salt and pepper. Turn this in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the breadcrumbs. Press the breading firmly.
  5. Mix the paprika powder with the oil. Using a brush, carefully spread the mixture on the surface of the schnitzel. They must be completely wetted with the oil.
