Rent a rental car without a credit card
The credit card is becoming more and more important for financial transactions, without it one is downright handicapped. This is especially true if you want to buy something online or, for example, book a rental car. Because not every German has a credit card by a long way, many transactions do not even come about.

Credit card details are often requested on the Internet in order to minimize the seller's risk. Not every customer pays for the goods ordered, which is why many online retailers insist on the safer credit card transaction. While traditional mail order companies often also deliver their goods by invoice, when reserving rental cars or hotel rooms they usually ask for credit card details by default.
Book a rental car without a check card
- If you do not have a credit card or do not want to use your card to rent a car, visit the rental car station in person and do not book over the Internet.
