If you want to insert a PDF file in PowerPoint, you can use the screenshot function. This is particularly useful if you have Adobe Reader 7.
- If you want to insert a PDF file in PowerPoint, you must first open it with Adobe Reader.
- Select the "Tools" function in the Adobe Reader menu and click on the "General" menu item.
- Here you will find the "Select" function. In your PDF document, select the part of the file that you want to insert into the PowerPoint presentation.
- You then have to select the marked area with a left click and then click on "Copy" in the menu that appears.
- Now open your PowerPoint document and choose the page on which the PDF file should be inserted.

Insert a graphic from the PDF file
- If you want to insert a graphic from the PDF file into the PowerPoint presentation, you must use the screenshot function.
- To do this, open the PDF with Adobe Reader and select the "Snapshot" tool in the "Tools" menu.
- Scroll to the page of the document that has the graphic you want to copy.
- With a pressed toll button you now have to draw a rectangle around the graphic. When the correct area is selected, you can release the mouse button and the selected area has been copied to the clipboard.
- The clipboard must now be inserted into the presentation. To do this, open PowerPoint and insert it by clicking on "Insert" in the "Start" menu.
