1. Dig a hole that will be the negative mold for the fountain. Shape the walls accordingly to create a pleasing appearance for the ornamental fountain. Remember that elevations will later become depressions, and vice versa. You cannot produce filigree patterns like this.
2. Line the hollow with foil and pour the mixed concrete into it. Place a bowl or bucket in the concrete slurry; this will be the inside of the collecting tray of the ornamental fountain for the garden.
3. Let the concrete dry slowly and keep it moist at the beginning or cover it with foil.
4. Once the concrete has hardened, you can take the bowl of the ornamental fountain out of the earth and sand the surface smooth.

2. Plaster everything neatly with concrete and paint the fountain with a suitable facade paint. You should coat the inside of the fountain with liquid plastic so that the fountain is waterproof.
3. Fill the well with water and connect the pump.

Production of negative molds for garden figures

If you can't find casting molds that you like, make your own by making impressions of designs that you want to cast.

1. Coat the molds from which you want to make the negative molds with liquid latex to prevent them from sticking to the concrete.
2. Pour an approx. 10 cm thick layer of concrete in a tub and press the molds in so far that you can take them out again after the concrete has hardened.
3. Remove the shapes and you have a negative shape. Coat these with latex as well, because otherwise the concrete and the form could become inseparable.

With these negative molds you can pour decorations for the garden fountain.
