Sit handball as a change from warming up 

Sit handball, which can be played over the entire handball field according to handball rules, is one of the easier warm-up games. Since the movement sequences are interrupted by sitting, it is not so conditionally demanding.

  • In this game, the player must sit to receive the ball. If he is played, he sits down on the floor in the respective position and continues to play the ball while seated.
  • A point is scored and counted if the player who is in the 6m / 9m area of ​​the playing field catches the ball while sitting. No player is allowed to sit longer than the specified time, otherwise the play will be declared invalid.

Vary the game with a given number of passes to play. Players may only bounce the ball once or not at all.

Number ball for coordination and reaction training

Have the team counted before the game so that each player has to remember the numbers of his right and left teammates. Set a room for the game to play in. This can be the six-meter circle or a similar room.

  • Then, while all players move in the given space, the ball is passed from number to number - in ascending or descending order. You can also specify numbers to which the ball must be passed.
