Where does the blood come from?

  • There are permanent blood donation services, which are often located in hospitals.
  • Patients who want to donate blood are subject to strict requirements. Here, the age is carefully considered, because a donation under the age of 18 is not allowed.
  • The frequency is also fixed, because a healthy person can donate blood up to six times a year without his or her own body to harm.
