Use TV with hard disk recorder correctly

A hard disk recorder is very useful when you want to watch TV regardless of the airtime. You can program your favorite programs and watch them either delayed or at a later point in time when you find the time. Hard disk recorders can be bought as separate devices, but a modern TV set has such a hard disk recorder already integrated. The handling is very easy.

Record TV shows with the TV

The recording of TV programs with the TV works with most models via a USB connection which is integrated in the TV. A USBhard disk on which the television broadcasts are recorded. Time-shifted television is also possible. This means that you can watch a program while it is being recorded if, for example, you don't come home until half an hour after it has started. A USB hard drive must be connected to the television set in order to record on the TV hard disk recorder. 1. To record a TV program on the TV hard disk recorder, you must call up the menu on your TV set. Some models also have a separate button for the recording function. A built-in program guide (EPG) allows you to select one or more TV shows. Save the selected programs and make sure that the timer recording is activated. There should also be enough space on the hard drive. In the timer menu you can see how many hours are still free for the recording.
2. At the selected time, the TV will start recording to the hard drive. You don't need to do anything or turn on the TV.
3. If you want to watch the recording, go to the corresponding menu and look for the corresponding TV show. After watching it, you can decide whether to keep the recording or delete it.
