The termination of the surfstick takes place in writing, but can be announced in advance by telephone, whereby the hotline now only sends a termination form to the customer. The termination itself must be made in writing.

• O2 provides customers with a free hotline. You can reach them on 0800-50 01 144. After entering the data, O2 offers to send you a form to cancel.
  
• In any case, remember to have the cancellation confirmed in writing. This is important if O2 charges you further usage fees even though you no longer use the stick after the contract has expired.
  
• If you want to terminate the contract in writing without a form, you must write to O2 directly. The company's address is: Telefónica O2 Germany GmbH & Co. OHG, Customer Service, 90345 Nuremberg.
  
• The letter of termination must contain your name, address and the current date. Put your concern in the subject of the letter. In this case, this is the termination of the O2 Surfstick.
