If you agree to a sublease, you are the landlord yourself. If you create your own form, you must observe a few guidelines. Otherwise, you risk trouble with your own landlord.

  6. Ask for a deposit in case the lodger causes damage.
  7. Commit the subtenant to the house rules. In your own interest, you should agree to rest periods for the night.
  8. Clarify to what extent the sub-tenant wants to and is allowed to carry out conversions or installations (antenna, satellite dish).
  9. If you rent out a furnished room, prepare an inventory list as an attachment to the sublease agreement.
  10. Clarify that the subtenant is not taking in any other person.
  11. If you make additional arrangements, note them down in the sublease agreement.
