Remove Facebook from Skype
The popular messenger Skype offers its users a connection to the Facebook network. If you want to delete this link again, you can remove it in a few steps.
Skype is a messenger that has been using the social network for some time Facebook works together and thus offers the opportunity to communicate with his contacts via Skype. However, you can easily remove this link again.
Disconnect from Skype
- If you have set the connection to Facebook in Messenger Skype and would like to remove it again, first call up Messenger and start the program.
- Enter your login details and wait for Skype to load completely.
- You can now see your contact list and, above it, the Skype menu. Click on 'Display' there.
- Select 'Skype Home' from the various options.
- Another window will now open with all the news from your Skype and Facebook contacts stand.
- On the right side you will see a small gear. Click on this and select the option 'Disconnect from Facebook'.
- The link will be removed immediately and you will no longer be able to access Facebook on Skype.

Remove the link via Facebook
Alternatively, you can also remove the connection to Skype directly in Facebook.
- Log in to the Facebook portal with your user data at the top right.
- Then go to the small arrow at the top right and open the privacy-Settings.
- To the right of 'Applications and websites', click 'Edit settings'.
- You will first see all the applications that you use in Facebook. This should also include Skype. To the right of it, click on 'Edit settings' again.
- Next to the Skype application, click on 'Edit'.
- Now select 'Remove application' in the top right corner.
- Confirm this decision by clicking on the 'Remove' button and then pressing 'OK'.
- Skype can no longer access Facebook.
If you would like to contact your Facebook friends via Skype again, you have to authorize the application again. Have fun!
