However, if you have really soaking wet windows, something may be wrong with the windows or the construction of the house. You should definitely have this examined, because molds can form from it very quickly, which are extremely hazardous to health.

First measures for misted windows not only in winter

  • Ventilation before going to bed is very important, because at night you will greatly enrich the air with the exhaled moisture. The room air is only able to absorb the amount of moisture when its saturation level has not yet been reached.
  • Heat your home properly. There should be around 20-22 degrees in each room, otherwise the walls can cool down.

  • Keep your room temperature as constant as possible. If you do not want to keep all rooms at the same temperature, you should separate the cooler rooms from the warmer ones with closed doors.
