Prepare fresh spinach in the microwave

Fresh spinach is available in leaves. To get a large portion, however, you will need a lot of leaves, as the spinach will collapse. 500 g spinach leaves look like more than they are, so don't be alarmed.

  1. The spinach leaves are washed off in cold salt water in the sink. Remove only the woody stems up to the edge of the leaf. You can leave the stems of small and delicate leaves on.
  2. Drain the spinach well in a colander.
  3. Now place as many spinach leaves in your container that the bottom is covered.
  4. Top it with a few flakes of butter and a tiny pinch of salt. If you would like to add more spices to the spinach, you can do this too, so you can add small slices of garlic, soup spices or nutmeg, etc. to add.
  5. Now put the next layer of spinach leaves on top and also add a pinch of salt and flakes of butter.
  6. Repeat this until all of the spinach leaves are layered.
