What you need:

  • Wood (preferably MDF panels)
  • drilling machine
  • Wood screws
  • glue
  • Dowels
  • Nails
  • hammer
  • Door hinges
  • Chipboard

The first steps for your TV cabinet

  1. First take your measurements: How long and how high should your TV cabinet be?
  2. You will need two long sides: one side for the bottom and the other side for the top. How many subjects you need depends on your circumstances. If you want a clipboard, you have to include this in the calculation.
  3. It is recommended to buy the wooden panels (MDF panels) made to measure or to have them cut to size. This saves one work step and you can go straight to the Assembly kick off.
  4. If you do not receive made-to-measure wooden panels, you will need to make the panels for the TV cabinet wood cut to size.

How to assemble wooden TV furniture

  1. The second step is that you first assemble the body of your wooden TV cabinet. To do this, fix it at the edges with clamps to prevent it from slipping.
  2. Build a bar yourself - this is how it works with wood

If you have enough space or a party room in your home, you have ...

  3. Drill 2 holes on each of the side walls where they will connect with the long plates. So a total of 8 drill holes on each side wall. Then screw the body together. Screw only one side, however, so that you can still install the compartments, the right or left side as desired.
  4. Place the not-yet-finished wooden TV cabinet on the floor. Since one side has not yet been assembled, something can break quickly here.
  5. Drill holes where you want to place the compartments. Glue them together and insert the dowels. You can now insert the shelves into the TV cabinet.
  6. Next, mount the missing side panel on the TV cabinet. Here you also drill 2 holes at each transition to the long plate and screw these two elements together.
  7. Nail the back panel to the TV cabinet using nails and a hammer. A thin chipboard is suitable for this. It is flexible and yet it stabilizes the body.
  8. Drill the holes for the door hinges and screw them on both the body and the Doors fixed.
  9. Now all you have to do is hang in the doors and your wooden TV cabinet is ready.

You have proven your talent and your unique piece can now come into its own.
