The question of how many years old they are allowed to buy men's magazines is particularly interesting for male teenagers. Be it FHM, Maxim or Playboy - the rules are liberal. If you are still unsure, there are simple guidelines you can follow.
FHM and Co - from how many years they can be bought
Magazines such as FHM or Maxim are available in supermarkets, petrol stations and newsagents - they are therefore freely available. If you are under 18, you may still be unsure about whether to dare to buy one of the magazines.
- The reason is simple: You are afraid of being rejected at the cash register and possibly embarrassed because you haven't received the magazine yet. In the vast majority of cases, however, the concern is unfounded.
- Magazines like FHM, GQ and Maxim show scantily clad women, but not naked women. Thus, they are not regarded as erotic, but as lifestyle magazines. They are treated as such in shops and thus also sold to young people.
Of course, in individual cases it can happen that a seller is unsure. You can inform them about the lack of age restriction on the booklet - then you should get it.
The Playboy and similar magazines
