- Another problem that you will never get under control with chlorine tablets is the salinisation of the water in the pool. Water regularly evaporates from the pool, the dissolved salts remain behind. In addition, when the pool is used, salts always remain in the water, for example from skin sweat. For this reason, you should backflush the filter once a week and let 3% of the water out of the pool to replace it with fresh water. In a basin that is filled to a height of 60 cm, you have to increase the water level by approx. Lower 2 cm and raise again to add sufficient fresh water.
