Design concrete figures individually

  1. If you want to make concrete figures yourself, the first thing you need to do is design a shape. This is also called formwork. Pour the concrete into this formwork and after it has hardened, your concrete figure is ready. For the production of a concrete figure, you should design a formwork that corresponds to the size of the later figure. The concrete block from which your figure is to be created can be square or rounded at the ends. Using wood, build an outline for a cinder block. In addition to the height, make sure that the diameter is sufficient so that you have freedom in designing your concrete figure.
  2. The formwork must be sturdy and must not fall apart when you pour in the concrete. You can do this by reinforcing the formwork with battens and screwing it in several times. At the top you leave an opening in which you can pour the concrete. At the bottom, the formwork should be closed so that you can move the concrete figure to its final place.
  3. Stir the concrete in with water as described on the packaging. Make sure that the mass does not become too firm so that you can fill it in well.
  4. Wait until the mass has hardened completely. Only then can you remove the formwork.
