You have decided to fold your own napkins for lunch with the whole family at Christmas and thus decorate the table with a special touch. There are of course many possibilities, from very simple folding techniques to serviettes, which are a little more complicated to fold. But with a little skill and practice, you can do it too.

A relatively simple example of folding napkins for Christmas is making a serviette in the shape of a Santa Claus:

  1. Peel off one layer of each of the yellow and red napkins, place them on top of each other and then with one corner facing you and the red napkin at the bottom.
  2. Now fold the left side in the middle onto the right side.
  3. Now unfold the napkin again and then fold the left and right corners up to the middle.
  4. Fold napkins as fans - this is how it works

Folded napkins always look particularly pretty. You have no experience in ...

  5. Now bend the lower corner approx. 2 cm backwards and you are already done with the folding.
  6. Now paint a face on the yellow part and a napkin in the shape of a Santa Claus head is ready. If you want, you can stick on a little beard with some cotton wool.

The next proposal has as a result a napkin that will be folded into a star:

  1. To do this, take a serviette, one-colored one is best, and fold it in half.
  2. Then unfold this again and now fold the right side and then the left side up to the middle bend.
  3. Now draw 8 parts of the same size very thinly over the length. Now bend this in a zigzag so that there are stairs in front of you.
  4. Now take these stairs in your hand so that the open side is facing up and the closed side is in your hand. It looks like a fan. Now fold each fold of the zigzag staircase outwards so that a small triangle is created. You do this on the front and then on the back. There must then be 4 triangles folded forward on each side.
  5. Finally, pull your napkin apart and put it down.
  6. There should now be a napkin in front of you that looks like a half star. Good luck with Handcraft.
