How to write a picture description in art
Every viewer of a picture can spontaneously say whether he likes the picture or not. A description of the image in art and the interpretation of what is depicted, however, require that one deal with the image in more detail.

Explain the meaning of the picture at the time and relate it to the present. Say something about the artist and what you think he wants to convey with the sitter.
