HELPSTER author

I have many years of experience in scientific research and journalism. I studied human biology at home and did my doctorate in physiology in 2008. My main scientific interest was and is saliva and its diversity in nutrition and as a medium for diagnosing diseases. Since 2005 I have been working as a volunteer journalist for the Association of German Biologists and Life Scientists and have always been active in writing ever since. In addition to specialist articles, my texts also include smaller works on selected topics from health, medicine and nature, as well as short stories and a few first steps in poetry. Due to my previous commitment, I have in particular in-depth knowledge of research, conducting interviews and communicating understandable science. In a workshop of the Klaus Tschira Foundation on science communication, I was able to get to know other valuable tips and methods of journalistic work. Since 2009 I have been continuously involved in the social field, e. B. at the youth migration service in Bonn or currently with a sponsorship for a Cambodian youth.
