"iPhone unavailable/disabled"
The iPhone lock feature protects your personal information from unauthorized access by blocking login after multiple unsuccessful login attempts. However, even after it has been blocked, for example because you have forgotten your password or pattern, you can unlock and use your smartphone again in just a few steps.
Triggering the lock screen on iPhone
As of iOS version 15.2, each iPhone via the security lock, an additional security feature that smartphone to protect against unauthorized use.

- Turn off the iPhone not connected to the computer. Depending on the model, this is done by pressing the side button and the "volume down" button (iPhone 8 and newer) or via the side button and "Power off" on the slider on iPhones 6 and 7 generation. Older iPhones are powered by the "Power" button on the top edge of the smart phone switched off.
- Now put the iPhone in recovery mode. You activate this on iPhones of generation 8 and newer by pressing and holding the side button. Press and hold the "Volume Down" button on 7th generation iPhones or the "HOME" button on older iPhones. For all iPhones, hold the respective button until the screen shows booting into recovery mode. Restore iPhone to computer
- Connect the iPhone which is in recovery mode to your computer using the cable.
- Open Finder or iTunes and select the smartphone in the software. You will be presented with a dialog offering you to update or restore the smartphone.
- Click on the "Restore" button.
The computer will now run the recovery process. This process can take several minutes. If it doesn't complete after 15 minutes, turn off your iPhone and start over.
After the completion of the restoring process, you can disconnect your unlocked iPhone from the computer and set it up again.
