  4. Lift the e-mail- Traffic on Facebook so that when in doubt, you can prove that your account has been hacked and not just claiming it.
  5. File a criminal complaint with the police. They are obliged to record your advertisement and also to process it. Depending on whether the perpetrator has already appeared under criminal law, this can result in severe penalties - even for young people. Under no circumstances do you have to assume from the outset that the proceedings will be terminated. Quick action is required here, as IP addresses can only be traced for a very short time.
  6. Choose a strong password for your Facebook account. This should have at least 8 characters and should not be guessable. A very good trick is to use the first letters of the words in a sentence. As a result, the sentence "My grandma lives in Munich and is 83 years old" becomes the very secure password "MOwiMui83Ja". Of course, you must not tell anyone else your password, otherwise even the most secure formulation is of no use.
