Depending on your disposition or age, as a man you may have quite bushy eyebrows. These can quickly look unkempt or give you an unintentionally grim expression. With a few tricks, however, your eyebrows will look more manicured.

As a man, you don't necessarily have to pluck accurately eyebrows walking around unless you like it that way. However, you shouldn't just ignore heavily bushy brows. It is not necessarily an advantage if eyebrows dominate strongly and possibly give the other person a wrong impression of your personality.

Gradually shape bushy eyebrows

  1. The easiest and fastest way to put bushy eyebrows in their place is to brush them into shape with an old toothbrush and some hair polish. To do this, please do not spray the varnish directly onto your brows, but onto the brush. Then brush the moistened bristles quickly over the eyebrow hairs a few times from the bridge of the nose towards the temples. Now you can already see whether this method makes your bushy eyebrows look tidier.
  2. If you are fundamentally not yet satisfied, take the next measure. To do this, you will need nail scissors and tweezers. Don't worry, you don't have to pluck, you can shorten any protruding hairs. First choose those brow hairs that still stick out wildly despite being fixed with the hair lacquer. If you are left-handed, you will grab each of these hair individually with the tweezers, pull it gently from the skin away and shorten it a little. Make sure that you do not accidentally cut off too many hairs, because then your eyebrows may no longer be bushy, but full of holes.
  3. After shortening individual brow hairs, check the effect by fixing them with a little hair varnish. If you are satisfied, you can leave it at that. You should just get into the habit of brushing your hair every morning with some hair lacquer in the shape.

Still too much wild growth? Trim the brows into shape

If your eyebrows still don't look really well cared for, use nail scissors and tweezers again. You don't have to pluck this time either, so take courage. You will also need an old toothbrush again, but no hair lacquer. It is even an advantage if you wash off any hair lacquer residues beforehand.

  1. Make sure there is good lighting. You will get along best if you look into the magnification of a hand mirror and place it on a window sill in daylight.
  2. Brush your eyebrows again with the old toothbrush. This time, however, not from the inside out, but from above towards the eye. Extremely long hairs are often hidden in really bushy eyebrows. You can discover them with this method.
  3. Grab each one of these hairs one at a time with the tweezers and trim them. Here, too, you have to make sure that you do not cut off other brow hairs.
  4. Feel free to brush your brows down again and again and track down the outliers. When you have finished with one side, stand in front of your normal bathroom mirror and look at the raised brow. If you like what you see, do the same with the other eyebrow.

With these absolutely painless methods, you can thin out bushy eyebrows so that they appear less strong. However, if you are still not satisfied, consider plucking unnecessary brows.
