There are many things for your children to discover outside on a walk in autumn. Lying on the floor Chestnuts, Acorns, beechnuts, hazelnuts, walnuts and also lots of colorful leaves from the trees. Together with construction paper, a variety of things can be tinkered with.

  • Together with your sunshine, collect a brightly colored bouquet full of leaves. For the subsequent handicrafts at home, be sure to collect at least two sheets of the same variety. However, 3 is better, then you have a replacement if something goes wrong with drying.
  • Spread a large cloth on the floor at home and put the collected leaves together. If the leaves are still damp, they need to be dried first before crafting.
  • To do this, put each sheet between two white A4 sheets of paper. After that, pack a pile of books on top and let the leaves dry for at least 3 days.
  • In the meantime, get at least 3 large sheets of construction paper. These do not necessarily have to be different in color. Since construction paper is mostly available in colorful sheets, you have enough supplies for the next handicraft lessons. If you don't have one, don't forget to buy craft glue and craft scissors.
