Amazon: cancel the return

When you order something from Amazon, you usually have the option of sending the goods back within a month. Certain items are excluded from this, you have to send them back within two weeks. However, you will be asked to provide a reason for the return. You can be sure that your return will be accepted in any case. In some cases, however, if you do not like the goods, you have to pay the costs yourself.

Trigger a return on Amazon

1. Log in to your customer account at Amazon and select from your last orders the ones you want to return.
2. Click on "Return item" and state the reason for the return. You can print out a package label if the return is not made for the reason that you do not like the goods. Otherwise you will be shown an address label and you will have to pay the costs.

It is not absolutely necessary to cancel

If you decide to keep the goods after all, you don't have to do anything. It is not necessary to cancel the return.

• The return will not be processed until the package has been received. If you change your mind after the return has been initiated, the package label will expire and cannot be used for any other return.


Request a return slip for Amazon

You can easily get a return slip from Amazon via the mail order company's website ...

• The money will not be added to your account just because you initiated the return. Just don't send the package to cancel the return. The goods have been paid for, the purchase is considered complete as long as the goods have not been received by Amazon within the return period.

Make sure that you strictly adhere to the return deadline. Since all processes at Amazon are processed electronically, you can no longer initiate a return if you exceed the deadline by just a few minutes.
