This is an SCM file
Samsung Channel Maps, the so-called SCM files, contain the channel lists of Samsung televisions.
- With the help of these files you can edit your station lists as you like on the computer.
- The "SamyGO" program is required to edit the lists. This software enables you to easily edit or sort your channel lists. It can also be used to add stations to the list that the television cannot find during a normal station search.
- SamyGO is open source software and is therefore available free of charge.
How to open your channel map
As already mentioned, you need the "SamyGO" program to open the SCM file. In order to be able to use the program, Java must be installed on your computer installed. If this is not already the case, download it from the Java-Homepage. Then you can start:

- Download the software SamyGO down. To do this, follow the link and click on the there operating system Your computer.
- In order to be able to open your SCM file with SamyGO, you must first unzip it. To do this, change the file extension from "***. Scm" to "***. Zip".
- Unzip Then save the file as you normally would with WinZip or WinRar.
- In the folder that has now been created, look for the map that you want to edit. In this case, it depends on the type of TV connection you have. At a cable-Connection select the file "map-CableD", with an antenna connection "map-AirD" and with a satellite connection "mapSateD".
- Select the relevant file with the right mouse button and click on "Open with".
- In the following window you only have to search for SamyGO, confirm with "OK" and your SCM file is already open.
