VIDEO: How to delete the wall on Facebook
at Facebook Anyone can, depending on their security settings, leave a message on your pinboard (also known as "post"). Or you can post a message to your friends on the wall. This can be a simple "get well soon" wish or you leave someone behind, for example. B. Birthday Congratulations. Every now and then you have to "clean up" your pinboard on Facebook. You can do this by deleting messages from your wall because you may not like the message or you don't want everyone to read it forever.
- Log in to Facebook with your username and password. Your picture will appear on the top left and your name will appear on the right. Click on your name. You will then be redirected to your pinboard page.
- You will now see all of the pin board entries on Facebook. "Remove" appears in gray to the right of each entry. Click on "Remove" for the respective messages to be deleted and the message will be deleted immediately.
- If you also have game applications from friends (e.g. B. Farmville) posted on your Facebook wall, you can block this application permanently by clicking "Block this application" below the application. However, it is more likely that you will find a request on the main page after logging in to the right. Then click on the respective application and block it. Then Facebook prevents something from being forwarded to this blocked application in the future.
- Alternatively: If you do not want any messages from a certain person on your wall, but do not bother want to deal with deleting these messages, you can block this person so that they do not post anything to you can. To do this, change the security setting by clicking on "Account Settings" at the top right under Account. Then click on "privacy Manage ", then on" Custom Settings ". There click on the arrow next to the category and select "Custom". Now you just have to enter the name of the person in the line under "Hide this from the following people" and save this entry with "Save settings".

Who sees what on Facebook?
- You can see your current settings in the overview table. If you click on "Custom Settings", you can edit them and adjust them accordingly.
- For example, it makes sense that only your "friends"Are allowed to see what is going on on your pin board, but still only" certain people "may be allowed to see Be allowed to send messages to your wall - or only you ("Just me") can post want. To do this, select the link "Things I share with other people" and remove the check mark next to "Friends can post on my pin board". You can then define who is allowed to use your pin board for messages, for example by creating a list of people or by only allowing yourself access ("Only me").
- If you want to hide your pin board completely, select the option “Only me” under the setting item “Make this visible for”. Now nobody but you can see your wall.
