• Modern web applications such as Facebook save the user's search queries in order to be able to fall back on matching results when they search again.
• The search queries are usually saved directly on the application server. but also outsourced to the web browser.
• You may therefore delete the search. via the web browser or via the web application (e.g. B. Facebook) itself. The latter, however, is not possible without the help of Facebook, as you have no access to this data and therefore cannot delete it.

Clear the search

Search histories are sometimes saved in the web browser or directly on the website. The latter mainly happens on Facebook.

1. Since the search in Facebook is heavily dependent on the Facebook web application (the data is read dynamically using AJAX), you have little influence on the suggestions that are made when you enter the data.
