If you want to view your bookmarks, there are a number of ways you can do this quickly.

  • You can display your bookmarks in a sidebar by pressing the key combination CTRL + B or by clicking on "Bookmarks" under "Sidebar" in the Firefox menu under "View". You will then see an overview of your bookmarks in the left pane of Firefox. In addition to the display of your bookmarks that you have in the toolbar, the overview also includes unsorted bookmarks and / or bookmarks that you have stored in a specific folder.
  • You can also display your bookmarks as a toolbar, which is activated by default. If you have deactivated this or the toolbar is not visible, click in the Firefox menu under "View" under "Toolbars" on "Bookmarks Toolbar". The toolbar will appear just below the Firefox address bar.
  • You also have the "Bookmarks" item in the Firefox menu. If you click on this, you will see all bookmarks on the one hand and you can also carry out other actions such as "Add bookmark" on the other.

If you want to display all bookmarks clearly and edit them if necessary, you can also call up the bookmarks manager integrated in your Firefox library.

  • This shows you all bookmarks in a similar way to the sidebar and offers you further options, for example to move or edit bookmarks quickly.
  • To start the bookmark manager you either have to use the key combination CTRL + SHIFT + B press or in the Firefox menu on "Bookmarks" and then at the top on "Show all bookmarks" click. You can then call up all bookmarks in the left-hand area of ​​the window that appears and click the "Views" button at the top Edit the display, for example by expanding the column display or the bookmarks based on various criteria (e.g. B. Name, last visited or most visited).
  • You can also search for specific bookmarks in the upper right corner by entering part of the name or the web address or by entering a keyword.
  • If you click on a certain bookmark, you can change the name and address as well as add keywords or a description in the lower area.
  • If you want to move a bookmark to another folder, you only have to select it with the left mouse button pressed and then drag it into the folder.
