Curlers create great waves - especially long ones hair look perfect with it and don't need any additional styling. Most of the time, the procedure with the curlers was perhaps too time-consuming? Don't worry, it's also easier and faster.

Long hair - advice in advance

It doesn't even have to be a curl - it looks natural and more beautiful when gentle waves do that face flatter. This is also very easy with curlers.

  • It is best to wash your hair the day before. Freshly washed, the styling takes forever and usually doesn't last very long. Freshly washed hair has less stability and resilience, so wash your hair the day before.
  • Before you start, you should also note that it makes sense if you have not put any care products into your hair. Of course is regular care important - long hair in particular needs this - but it makes styling difficult. Care and cures often make hair very heavy and slack - rather unsuitable for styling with curlers.

How to screw in curlers easily and quickly

The good news first - you don't need to be a hairdresser to put curlers in your hair. The nice thing about volume curlers is that they are twisted into dry hair. In addition, these do not have to be perfectly wound to get nice waves afterwards. For gentle waves, it is sufficient if you only screw in the top of the head.

Wavy straight hair - this is how it works

It is often bewitched: people with curly hair want straight hair and vice versa ...

  1. Part the way you like to wear it. Comb the hair that is in front of the ear a little further to separate it from the hair at the back.
  2. Start on one side and use the stem comb to pull out a strand of the same thickness and width as the size of the curler.
  3. Comb the strand through again with the comb and apply the volume curler to the tips of the strand of hair. Make sure that you keep the strand taut and now slowly untwist the curler. The advantage of volume curlers is that the Velcro allows the hair to stick easily and not fall off as easily as with previous curlers.
  4. As soon as you have turned on a curler, continue with the next strand underneath the volume curler. The curlers run diagonally to the facial contour. The last curler ends at the ear.
  5. Now repeat this process on the other side of your face.
  6. Now you have already made the front head. The back of the head may seem a bit more difficult at first glance, but here it is completely sufficient if you only apply curlers to the upper area of the head.
  7. Comb all the hair backwards at the back of your head. Here you can now place two volume wrappers next to each other. Underneath - that is, under the curler - put another row with three curlers in your long hair.
  8. Now leave the curlers on your head for a good 15 minutes and blow-dry lightly with a blow dryer. Due to the heat, the hair takes on the new structure faster than if you leave the curlers on your head for two hours.
  9. Now let the curlers cool down briefly before you remove them again. Then carefully run your fingers through the long hair again.

You see, it really has to take a long time to get great waves in your long hair. Use volume curlers with Velcro instead of conventional curlers.
