You take your wallet to hand several times a day and always have it with you. Reason enough to come up with individual design options for a nice wallet. A nice wallet for your change

A wallet just in case

The following model, which comes closest to a classic wallet, is a little more elaborate.

  1. Use fabric and lining that you like.
  2. Think about how the wallet should be structured, i.e. how many compartments the wallet should have in what size. Cut out the compartments accordingly, once from the lining material and once from the outer material.
  3. Now put everything on top of each other as it should look in the finished wallet. Think about the order in which you are going to proceed. At the end, every open edge should be finished with bias tape. This requires some planning. As a rule of thumb, start with the small compartments at the top and work your way down.
  4. If you want, you can also add a zipped pocket for change to the wallet.
