Beware of longing too much in the case of lovesickness
If you suffer from lovesickness, it may seem to you that you will never be really happy again and you cannot go on without your loved one. But be careful, don't sink into your longing! Even if it seems impossible to you at the moment, with a little time and distraction the grief will go away.
- Be patient with yourself. Lovesickness does not pass from one day to the next. It takes time to overcome longing. Sometimes it can even take a few months to pass.
- So that your longing does not overwhelm you and you act carelessly, you should first delete old e-mails, letters and all telephone numbers. So you don't run the risk of getting lost love bombarding them with calls, SMS or emails. Your longing can annoy the other and lead to further harm to your soul if you are rejected.
- You should also exercise caution when it comes to hiding. What you need now to fight your craving are good friends. Entrust yourself to good friends with your lovesickness. Then when the longing and the big shame come, it is better to call a friend than the one you love.
- Please leave. Do something and don't hide yourself. Let friends take you with you, go to dinner, to the cinema or, if your longing subsides, go dancing again.
- Make sure you find new hobbies of your own. Depending on how long your relationship lasted, you have to regain a life of your own. Hobbies can help you meet new people again and be independent.
- Change yourself. Show externally that a new phase in life is beginning for you. Buy something nice to wear and go to the hairdresser. The more you distract yourself, the less chance your longing and lovesickness have.
