Sew a floor cushion

Think about the shape of your floor pillow. You can make it round or square and of different thicknesses. When you are advanced on the sewing machine, you can zip up the Sew in cover, but this step is omitted in these instructions to make it easier keep:

1. Your pillow consists of a top and bottom and a long side strip that borders the pillow once. Cut three pieces of fabric to fit your foam pillow. Add about 1 cm on each side and don't forget the seam allowance. 2. Now sew the top and the strip of fabric together first. To do this, lay the long side of the fabric strip against one side of the pillow top and sew the parts together right sides together once all around.
3. Proceed in the same way when sewing the underside of the floor cushion onto the strips of fabric. Note, however, that you should leave a slit about 30 cm wide through which you can turn the pillowcase and stuff the foam cushion into it.
4. Cut back the seam allowance and turn the cover over. Equip the cover with the foam cushion and sew the slit close to the edge with the machine or by hand.
