A recipe for tortellini sauce
There are many sauces for tortellini. The recipe for tortellini alla panna is a tasty classic. It is an excellent ham and cream sauce. Pamper your loved ones with this delicacy.

- 500 g tortellini
- 150 g cooked ham
- 1 tbsp butter
- 400 ml unsweetened cream
- 2 egg yolks
- 3 tbsp grated parmesan
- 1 clove of garlic

- The Italian specialty tortellini are filled, ring-shaped pasta. The filling consists of a mixture of vegetables, parmesan cheese or from meat.
- You can either prepare tortellini yourself according to a recipe or, alternatively, buy chilled pasta from the freshness shelf.
- Once you have the pasta at home, it is usually served with a minced meat sauce, in a soup or with a cream sauce, such as tortellini alla panna.

- Cook the tortellini according to the recipe or package instructions.
- Put a tablespoon of butter in a large pan and heat it up. In the meantime, cut the cooked ham into small cubes and then put the ham in the hot butter.
- After searing the ham cubes briefly, pour 300 milliliters of cream into the pan and simmer on low.
- Mix 100 milliliters of cream, two egg yolks, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, if possible, a little fresh grated nutmeg and a clove of garlic that has previously been crushed with a garlic press. Alternatively, nutmeg and garlic powder can also be used.
- Once the tortellini are done cooking, add them to the pan. Then add the cream, parmesan and egg mixture to the remaining ingredients and let everything simmer on a low level until the sauce has the desired consistency.
- Season the sauce with a little salt and serve the meal with a little chopped parsley. Fresh or frozen parsley is best.
